This soft and slimy slug is basically yellow although the colour can vary from orange-brown to diry white. Even though this nudibranch is very soft and smooth it can survive for periods of time out the water when stranded by the receding tide.
Common in the mid to low tide zone and more abundant in harbours that open rocky coasts.
Feeds on sponges.
May secrete a toxic slime if threatened. Even though this nudibranch is shell-less it can survive for periods of time out the water when stranded by the receding tide.
