A light grey/beige slug with darker brown lines. The gill is tucked between the mantle and the foot on the right hand side.

Found in many habitats from mudflats to rocky shores, from 6m deep to the low intertidal.

A predator feeding mainly on sea anemones, but will eat other invertebrates and has been known to scavenge on dead or dying oragnisms.

This animal may contain tetrodotoxin (TTX, same as puffer fish) so dogs should not be allowed to eat them as it is fatal to them. It can make humans very ill as well.
