This shell is a white pagoda shaped structure with strong vertical ribs. There are many different species which all look much the same.
Usually found on sandy beaches or on rocky beaches where sand has become trapped between the rocks. Generally, they are found from the mid intertidal to about 5m deep.
Feed primarily on sea anemones.
