This beaded shell has a flat base with a deep depression in the centre and a pyramidal cross section. The shell is cream and the beads are reddish brown.
On the edge of the low tide zone amongst kelp holdfasts.
A grazer of microalgae and seaweeds.
Can be found both on rocky or soft shores.
