A small rounded cephalopod. Small fins to the rear of the body (mantle). Often appears irridescent.


Sepioloidea species tend to occur on soft sediments into which they bury during the day, emerging nocturnally to feed on small crustaceans and fish


Predator.


This little animal lives buried in sand during the day and comes out to hunt at night.


Very little is known about this species. It is not really a squid but is more closely related to cuttlefish although it lacks a cuttlebone.
